With an area of 7,111 hectares, Cabo Pulmo was declared a national park in 1995 and became a no-fishing zone. As a result, the marine life in the area has thrived, making Cabo Pulmo a living example of how protection measures can positively impact underwater ecosystems. The reefs in Cabo Pulmo are now home to over 200 species of fish and marine animals, creating a diverse and vibrant underwater world.

Cabo Pulmo with transportation

You will be provided with air-conditioned transportation to take you from your accommodation to your diving adventure. During the journey, you can admire the beautiful desert and mountain landscapes, and if you wish, make a stop for a delicious local breakfast.

Once you arrive, you will board the boat that will take you to two magnificent dive sites within the national park. The dive sites are mostly shallow, with depths ranging from 40 to 60 feet, providing you with an opportunity for long, leisurely drift dives where you can spot a wide variety of marine life thriving amidst the colorful coral formations.

After an unforgettable experience diving in the national park, you will be treated to a delicious authentic Mexican lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Great! We can arrange your diving trip to Cabo Pulmo even if you have your own car or a rental car during your vacation. With this option, you can drive yourself to Cabo Pulmo and we will arrange everything for you, so you arrive ready to dive.

Your diving trip will include two amazing dives in the national park with a Cabo Pulmo guide. We will also provide water and snacks for you during the trip. So, all you need to do is drive to the destination and let us take care of the rest.
